….So, do we give them their own show?
Everyone in the industry seemed to know what Brian Williams was like — arrogant, heir apparent, stretcher of the truth.
Yet, I liked watching him deliver the news, therefore I added to his ratings cred. Brian Williams is really good at his job, and I loved that he held such obvious reverence for Firemen and…and…and.
Will he recover?
If we look at the accolades given former President Bill – “I did not have sex with that woman.” – Clinton we need to answer in the affirmative. I can say this because I was a supporter, campaign contributor and BELIEVED his lies. Now? Not so much.
This morning, logging on to the news, I find:
Lance Armstrong, Tailwind Sports ordered to pay $10 million to SCA Promotions
A three-person arbitration panel Monday ordered the disgraced cyclist, along with Tailwind Sports Inc., the owner of Armstrong’s Tour de France teams, to fork over $10 million to Dallas-based insurance company SCA Promotions, which paid him millions of dollars in bonuses when he won the Tour de France in 2002, 2003 and 2004.

As heard and said often, the truth we tell about a mistake is part of our past; the lie is a part of our future because we have to remember what we said and continue the cover-up.
Lance Armstrong is a joke; Bill Clinton’s lies are very much all up in his future for the aforementioned reason; Brian Williams? The jury is still out.
Disclaimer: Lester Holt is really my fav, he squeaks integrity and it’s my hope he does not sensationalize or embellish the news like so many these days. I want Brian to win; I don’t watch him as much as Lester Holt, but it’s important for us, the news watchers for Brian to handle this with integrity. Brian has an enormous opportunity to BE the example.
Will Brian will do the right thing? I’m counting on him and this time I don’t think I’ll be duped. I want integrity to win. Don’t you?
Truth is truth. I have my truth, you have yours and then there is THE truth. No one is flawless, if you point one finger at me three more are pointing back at you. Can’t we all just tell the truth? That’s my wish for me and for you. Keep me posted on how it’s going!
As Dr. Phil says, “You can’t take back stupid.”
Dr. Phil’s last three shows have dealt with consequences of people lying. Tragedy upon senseless tragedy.
Maybe you’ve forgotten? I watch Dr. Phil ALOT!
