Meet Brenda

Brenda
Brenda McClain doesn’t brag about herself or her accomplishments, she puts the spotlight on her clients. Her Nashville, Tennessee-based boutique public relations company, MPR, designed and implemented national publicity campaigns for Warner Bros. Network, Gaither Music, TNN among others. Instead of seeking applause for herself, Brenda created Applause, an audience-seating business for television and film productions; her clients included dick clark company, The Nashville Network and Disney.

Brenda produced shows with Animal Expert Jack Hanna, created a skincare line with Jennifer O’Neill and developed the PBS series The History of Southern Gospel Music. Recruited by David Foster & Linda Thompson, Brenda recruited & produced Randy Travis, Garth Brooks and Kathy Mattea for Desert Storm’s Voices That Care.

Wonder who came up with the idea for the Today Show’s Music on the Plaza? Brenda. Her passion was to break Gospel Music to mainstream media, in the late ’90s she suggested to a Today Show producer that legendary acapella group, The Cathedrals, sing on Today, live, in the Plaza. Within six hours of their initial performance that September, the illustrious group was invited back for a Christmas concert. The rest, shall they say, is history. Brenda continued to “book” Gospel Music on national television including the Gaither Vocal Band’s lakeside performance on Good Morning America and Bill Gaither playing the piano as George Beverly Shea sang How Great Thou Art in the GMA Studios.

Initially in the healthcare field, Brenda is credited with developing healthcare AFTERCARE for television talk shows. Count both Paramount Pictures and Tribune Entertainment with embracing her plan to offer care for those who could otherwise not afford proper treatment after appearing on their shows. Brenda secured more than one million dollars in free healthcare for indigent talk show guests.

She established Still Talking, LLC  to house many projects including her beloved work as Special Projects Director for Hoffman Media, LLC.  For Hoffman she primarily works to create significant home designs for their publications’ millions of readers. She is also using her public relations, branding, product placement and social media expertise with Queenslander Tours and MarkStoryWorldAdventures.com.  Brenda’s base is her home office in a small town in Arkansas.
